Some people may bring up the counterargument: "Prove to me go doesn't exist."
As aforementioned somewhere in this thread, if you believe it exists, it
probably exists. I personally don't believe in god, but I stay quiet about what
I think about other people's beliefs in god. I don't think believing or not
matters. If you want to believe and it makes you happy, then you have the human
right to be happy.
The problem with religion is that they don't seem to have that same respect (at
least, from this point of view). They must force their beliefs on you, just to
prove that god exists.
Which leads right back to the topic at hand: "Prove to me that god
exists"
That's a tough one. Bother can be a great place to retreat to, and both can hurt
you badly if you choose one over the other. I have a lot of trouble choosing,
and try to keep both happy, but at times, it's extremely difficult
3 big encoders have been stopped. Without encoders, fansubbers don't have
anything to do, and in turn, there is no anime to be downloaded. Perhaps piracy
will slow for now. Opinions, anyone?
This might be that new feature (that's in beta) where people can download
certain stock images and wallpaper without needing to use credits, download
quota, or signing up. They won't be able to see it at the highest resolution
though
Hey, that's pretty cool. I used MSPaint for the longest time and the only thing
I ever learned was that color replacement. This is a neat tutorial, even though
I'm a photoshop user now ^^;
Professor for me. A nice mix of offense and defense as well as support, a jack
of all trades, kind of like me. I always loved the costume too, hoping to
cosplay an RO prof one day :3
Quote by Vickie93Question- What if you
had downloaded something, liked it, and then bought it? Can they hold something
against you if you have the actual product at home on your shelf?
No, not really. At that point of buying it, you simply have a copy to keep just
in case. If you look at fair use laws, you're allowed to make one copy for
personal use.
Quote by shadowangel4247for the
animes that's licensed lyk case closed/detective conan, they're VERY hard 2
find. i know, i've tried. but i wasn't going 2 download them or anything. just
watch them free online.
"Watching them free online" is the same as downloading it. Unless it's
under a free license, it is still as illegal as using torrent or fileshare to
obtain it.

And our anime download per capita is world's no.1 (its true)
I hope by that you mean that we have the least downloads per capita. Having the
most downloads per capita is not something to be proud of
If you feel strongly about it, it's fine. Society is the one that can't accept
it, sadly.
I know several homosexual people, and I can accept it. I'm sure many of your own
friends can accept you too, and it may even grow to a few more people than that.
Depends on what I'm doing. Generally, I use a layer for the outline, a layer for
each color, a layer for shading, a layer for lighting, and one for background if
applicable. I don't really use a lot of blending modes though, but when I do, I
usually use multiply
I don't wanna vote yet, but I wanna help you a little. Here is a list of all of

Quote by ASH-HikariIf I didn't see the
anime subbed on the internet first, I would never buy the expensive DVDs. So in
my case, it's helping them But I
understand their point completely. I just don't think this will ever be
solved.
This is true. I have heard that this is how Azumanga Daioh got so popular in
America, is because of the subs.
The problem is for most subbers, they sub whole series instead of just a few
episodes, discouraging people from buying the DVDs.
It worked for Azumanga because only a couple of the episodes were subbed, and if
people liked it, they wold buy the rest of the series.
As most of the people before me have said, if they are really your friends, they
will understand, regardless of their standpoint.
I know two people, one who had to admit that she was a lesbian, and one that had
to hear it from a friend (these two people are completely unrelated).
The one who is a lesbian, all of her friends were anti-homo (at least, it was
apparent). They made jokes and the likes all of the time. But even so, she came
out, and her friends understand it. They're still cool, though, they still make
jokes sometimes, it's all in her consent (don't ask how that works). I'd say
from the looks of things, they're better friends than before since they can
understand eachother better.
The one who had to hear it was, from what I could see, quite speechless at
first, but he's still cool with her (the girl who came out). This guy didn't
really have a strong standpoint, but now, it seems he's really pro-GLBT, I see
him participating in Day of Silence and all that stuff
Personally, I too, have had someone come up to me and come out. Really
surprising to me, as she was my girlfriend. Still, I understand, and I support
her all I can.
So there you go, tell your friends, they'll understand
I think it is hard to get it legally because everyone keeps downloading the stuff, forcing sale prices
to rise in order to keep up with production prices.
Quote by Heaven-PhoenixThough
rather than blaming the peer-to-peer file sharing and video sharing websites
(the "effects"), I think the better solution is to think of the
"causes" (we can't obtain anime that easily), and somehow start
dealing with things there.
You make a good point there, Heaven-Phoenix, but again, the economy would be
shot if they dealt with the causes, the main cause apparently is that people
can't afford it. I say afford because I know there are lots and lots of anime
stores around, but I also understand that some really can't go out and obtain it
easily (like, actually get to the store).

I would gladly help with a vocaloid group. I love the vocaloid series, and would love to try out the program some time. +1 from me too
It looks like a lot of the pages are like that. None are working for me at the moment

I'm considering buying this game along with a Wii Perfect Shot (not the zapper). I'm wondering if it's any good. You opinions please :3
Also wondering, should I buy a wireless nunchuck to go along with it? Sounds like it would enhance the fun. Opinions on this too please
If not this game, does anyone have any recommendation for light-gun games on the Wii?

I do homework, that bores me until I'm asleep
Just kidding. For me, I like to do relaxing things, like practice my piano, that usually helps
The first I've ever played was Ragnarok online. I miss it, I wanna go back
My favorites would be Gackt and Porno Graffiti, though, I only own one CD from each of them ^^;

Just simple chocolate though, mixed with nothing and tinted with nada

Japan is asking us to stop distributing anime illegally. It is damaging to the Japanese economy.
If we don't stop, the production of anime may stop overall. Think about that.
I'll keep updating with comments as more replies come in.
